PAULINE WOODROW

Mrs. Maurice H. (Pauline B.) Woodrow, 94, of 718 S 2nd Ave. W., a resident of Newton since moving from Boone in 1913, died Saturday, August 25, at the Heritage Manor Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug 28, at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.

The Rev. David Raymond, pastor of the Congregational United Church of Christ, will conduct services. Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today, Aug 27.

Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today.

Survivors are a granddaughter, Mrs. Patrick (Wendy) Lee of Marinette, Wis.; two great-grandsons; a great granddaugther; and a sister, Ivadell Wateman of Long Beach Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Walter, in 1976.

Mrs. Woodrow was a member of the Magi chapter of No. 139 OES, first president of the Woodrow Wilson Parent-Teacher Association, was a charter member of the Delta chapter of Delphians and the Newton Country Club and had been in charge of the kindegarten class at the Congregational Church of Christ for many years.

She was born Nov. 17, 1889 in Boone and attended Boone schools and Des Moines University.
