CARPENTER

Mrs. Sarah Carpenter, widow of the late Dr. L.J. Carpenter, died at the home of her son, Dr. Frank Carpenter, at Reasnor, at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 1926, aged 81 years, 4 months and 22 days. Her death followed an illness of several years, during which she required almost constant care. She is survived by three sons, all physicians, Dr. Frank Carpenter, at whose home she died, Dr. Oscar Carpenter of Sully, and Dr. Fred Carpenter of Pella. A grandson, also a physician, is located at Monroe. Funeral services will be held at Reasnor at ten o'clock Friday forenoon. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Pella.
