Janet L. Roush, 65, of Newton died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, in the Hospice of Jasper County Monarch Wing.
A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Newton Union Cemetery. The family will great friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Wallace Family Funeral Home.

Those left to honor Janet's memory are her son, Bob Roush of Newton; 2 daughters, Jackie (Steve) Palmer-Minner of Newton and Mary Roush (Mike Lewis) of Perry; her 3 grandchildren, Richard Palmer, Lari Roush, and Chase Roush; 3 step-granddaughters, Amanda, Jordanne, and Taylor; an uncle, Andrew Conn Sr.; 3 aunts, Agnes Pease, Bevelry Shissler, and Florence Verrips; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David R. Conn and Muriel M. Montgomery; husband, Larry Roush; her 4 brothers, Robert Conn, Richard Conn, Cornie Conn, and Ronald Conn; 2 grandchildren, Caryn Jo and Chloe Elizabeth; and an aunt and uncles.
Janet was born October 30, 1945 and graduated from Lynnville-Sully High School in 1963. She was a mold handler at Thomberts for 30 years, retiring in 2006. Memorials in Janet's name may be left at the funeral home.
