Died, at the home of her grandparents, in Colfax, August 11, 1893, of congestion of the brain, Mamie Lewis; aged 3 years, 5 months and 4 days. Mamie was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Lewis. ~ The Newton Journal, Wednesday, August 23, 1893.
