Don Greene Jr. of Edmond, Okla., died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, in Cocoa Beach, Fla., of a heart attack.
Born in Newton, Iowa, Dec. 29, 1941, to Don and Dorothy Greene Sr., Don followed in his Father’s footsteps in Managing programs like the Apollo Spacecraft and early days of the Space Shuttle at the North American Rockwell plant in Downey and Palmdale California. He went on to work for a number of other aerospace companies and was working as a consultant before his passing. Don is survived by his wife, Carolyn; his son, Scott; his daughter, Linda; six grandchildren; his mother, Dorothy; his sisters, Jean, Sue and Janet; and his brothers, Larry and John.
Arrangements have been made by Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, Cocoa Beach, Fla.
