Milton W. Neal Dies at Mingo, Services Saturday
MINGO-Milton Wallace Neal, 88, a longtime resident of the Mingo community, died Wednesday at his home in Mingo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the Mingo Methodist Church.
The Rev. Max Hall, minister of the church, and the Rev. William Koon of Des Moines will conduct services. Burial will be in Greencasthe cemetery.
Walters Funeral Home of Colfax is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Neal is survived by his widow; three sons, Lawrence of Ohio, Louis of Boone, and Richard in the armed services; six daughters, Mrs. Catherine Gulling of Colfax, Mrs. Lillian Bowen of Meeker, Colo., Mrs. Evelyn Anderson of Mingo, Mrs. Charlene Wagner of Axial, Colo., Viola Neal of Des Moines and Mrs. Marian Kasal of Chelsea.
He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, a great-grandchild and two brothers, David of Des Moines and Charles of Sun Valley, Calif.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Neal, he was born Feb. 15, 1883 at Clyde.
A carpenter, Mr. Neal resided in Mingo for the past 65 years.
