Carlton Shields, 79, formerly of Newton, died Thursday July 29, 2010, in Beaverton, Ore.
A memorial service in Mr. Shields’ honor will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, in Sunset Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are being handled by Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, (503) 292-6611.
