FUNERAL SCHEDULED THURSDAY FOR MR. AND MRS. SONDEREGGER

KELLOGG -- Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Arnold Sonderegger of Kellogg, who were found dead in their home Monday morning, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Kellogg Christian Church.

The Rev. Charles Fry, minister of the Carlisle Christian Church, assisted by the Rev. Phillip Ewoldsen, minister of the church, will conduct the services.

Burial will be in Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg.

Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The caskets will not be opened at any time.

Mrs. Sonderegger, the former Naomi Hope Pearce, is survived by two brothers, Dwight A. Pearce of Grinnell and Worthy E. Pearce of Clear Lake, Minn., and three sisters, Mrs. Ruth E. Owens of Oceanside, Calif.; Mrs. Harold (Lucille) Hoganson of Rosemead, Calif., and Mrs. Harold (Eulalia) Haines of Kellogg.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

The daughter of George W. and Cora M. Chase Pearce, she was born Nov. 17, 1904, in Jasper County and attended Grinnell schools.

She was married to Clyde Sonderegger March 19, 1927, in Council Bluffs.

Mrs. Sonderegger was 63 at the time of her death.

Mr. Sonderegger, 70, an agent for Wisgerhof Insurance Co. in Kellogg, had been a resident of Kellogg since the 1950s.

He is survived by a brother, Leslie Sondereggger of Des Moines, and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hellings of Oskaloosa and Mrs. Lena Boggers of Oskaloosa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Born Oct. 20, 1897, in Mahaska County, Mr. Sonderegger attended Oskaloosa schools and resided n Grinnell for many years before moving to Kellogg.
