Chase E. Buck Rinehart of Greeley, Colo., died at his home on Monday, July 12, 2010.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, July 23, at Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City.

Chase E. Buck Rinehart of Greeley passed away at his home on Monday, July 12, 2010. He was born March 19, 1940 in Prairie City, Iowa. He grew up in Prairie City and graduated from Prairie City High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962-1966 and in the U.S. Air Force reserves from 1966-1968. Buck married Betty Layne on December 28, 1965. He was a long time business owner of Rinehart Construction, a member of North Weld County Water board, a past president and current board member of the Weld County Fish & Wildlife club. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and he did a lot of competition shooting. He enjoyed shooting black powder muzzleloaders and being on the farm. He enjoyed pheasant and deer hunting with his dad, west of Wall, South Dakota for many years. He attended the Greeley Wesleyan Church.
He is survived by his wife Betty of Greeley; 3 daughters, Linda Hampton (Kevin) of Highlands Ranch, Joey Rinehart-Lamborn (Scott) of Greeley, and Lawonda Koehler (Russell) of Evans; his mother Jean Rinehart and sister Elane Olson of Mason City, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, Derek Smith, Samantha Hanson, Jordan Lamborn, Steven Hanson, Kristopher Hampton and Kaitlyn Hampton; 1 great-granddaughter Kieli Smith. Preceded in death by his father Loren Chase Rinehart.
A memorial service will be held at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church on Saturday July 24, 2010 at 10:30 a.m.
