AGNES PATTERSON DIES TUESDAY; RITES THURSDAY
Mrs. Howard (Agnes M.) Patterson, 75, of 2908 N. 4th Ave. E., a longtime resident of Jasper County, died Tuesday morning at the Skiff Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson-Reese Chapel.
The Rev. Robert Block, pastor of the Community Reformed Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Johnson-Reese Chapel after 2 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions to the Community Reformed Church, will be accepted.
Survivors are her husband, and a sister, Mrs. Pauline Dennis of Grinnell.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Patterson was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, attended Community Reformed Church, was baptised in Wellington, Kan., was a member of the United Methodist Church Women and the Farm Bureau Women's organization.
She was a former employe of the Morrison-Ricker Manufacturing Co. of Grinnell.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Manson, she was born July 8, 1902 at Grinnell and was educated in Grinnell schools.
She was married May 3, 1924 in Grinnell.
The Pattersons had resided in Des Moines for several years.
