David Kyle Wall, 43, of Colfax died Sunday, March 21, 2010, at his home.
A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today, March 26, 2010, at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax, with burial following at McKeever Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday beginning at noon until service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the David Wall Memorial Fund and can be mailed to the funeral home at 24 W Howard Street Colfax, Iowa 50054. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.

The son of Kennith and Gearldean (Bishop) Wall, David was born on July 1, 1966, in Tuscumbia, Missouri. David grew up in Eldon, Missouri, where he met his loving wife, Mary Cooper. On April 29, 1989, they were united in marriage, becoming Mr. & Mrs. Wall at Blue Springs Baptist Church in Eldon, Missouri.
David was an amazing father and loving husband who would do anything for his family and children. He moved his family to Iowa in 1998, to build a better life for them and give them a fresh start. David had worked for several years at Firestone in Des Moines. He loved being in the outdoors and grilling. It was his favorite summertime event and was very much an expert at barbequing ribs. He also loved his hunting and fishing but especially mushroom hunting.
Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Mary of Colfax; children, Natasha Cooper – Wall, Misty Wall, Heather Wall and Kyle Wall all of Colfax; three grandchildren, Skyla Kite, Brazton Millage and Alexas Veach all of Colfax; his father, Kennith Wall of Eldon, Missouri, a sister, Tonya Catron of Eldon, Missouri, three brothers, Shannon Wall and Gerald Wall of Eldon, Missouri and Robbie Wall of Newton, and his grandmother, Lois May Wall of Missouri.
Preceding David in death was his mother Gearldean (Bishop) Wall and a brother, Michael “Wally” Wall.
