Betty Peterson of Apache Junction, Ariz., formerly of Newton, passed away peacefully on Feb. 11, 2010, surrounded by her husband and daughter.
She is survived by Paul, her husband of 54 years; daughter, Charlotte Thompson, formerly of Newton; granddauther and husband Kim and Jim Davis; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Elizabeth Davis of Fenton, Mich., and many nieces, nephews and great friends.
Betty will be remembered as a caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Services will be held at a later date.
