Frederick William Boughey was born Dec. 14, 1936, in Ashland, Pa., and passed away suddenly on Feb. 3, 2010 in Fresno, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ethel Boughey, and brother, Thomas Boughey.
He is survived by his son, Stephen Harry Boughey; sister, Ruth Kilstrom; brother, Dan Boughey; sisters-in-law, Natalie Boughey and Carole Boughey; nephews, Chris Boughey and his wife Jennifer and daughter Sarah; Katherine Weaver her husband Jason and children Lissette and Nathaniel, Britt Boughey and his wife Krista, Brian Boughey and his daughter Jessica; and niece Erin Earley and her husband Jacob and children, Ella and Jackson. Fred also leaves behind many long-time friends and business associates since his work took him to several states, Canada and Europe.
A funeral service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home, Fresno, Calif., on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Boulder, Colo.
