DIRK VOS, 95, DIES FRIDAY; RITES TUESDAY

SULLY -- Dirk Vos, 95, of 718 South St., Pella, a resident of Sully until 1949, died Friday at the Community Nursing Home in Pella.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Second Christian Reformed Church in Pella.

The Rev. Henry Petersen, pastor of the church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.

Memorial contributions to the Christian Opportunity Center in Pella will be accepted.

Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella is handling arrangements.

Survivors are six sons, Paul D. of Monroe, Harold of Pella, Bernie of Newton, Richard of Pella, Marion of Grandville, Mich., and John H. of Pella; three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Clavena) Roelossen of Sully, Mrs. William (Durky) Bandstra of Pella and Mrs. Andrew (Laura) Slings of Pella; 43 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and five sisters.

The son of William and Klavina Van Mersbergen Vos, he was born Jan. 10, 1879 in The Netherlands. Mr. Vos came to the United States in 1892.

He was married to Jennie Bruxvoort Feb. 22, 1903 in Sully.
