John P. Olivier passed away May 28, 1999, in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Mr. Olivier's services were at Bunker's Desert Chapel, Mesa, Arizona on June 1, 1999. Internment was at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Mesa, Arizona.

Mr. Olivier was born in Pella, Iowa, January 30, 1914. He was 85.

He is survived by his wife, Lula Olivier of Cottonwood; his son, Ronald Olivier of Phoenix and his daughter, Joanna Wakefield of Cottonwood; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Olivier, grandson, Ricky Wakefield, his parents, and one brother and one sister.

He was a farmer in Iowa until he moved to Arizona for his daughter's health. They owned and operated a grocery store in Apache Jct. and then moved on to Flagstaff, Arizona, where they were in business with another at Flagstaff Cinder Sales. When they sold out their share of the business and retired to Cottonwood 20 years ago, they build their new home and resided.
