SERVICES FRIDAY FOR O.K. HULL, LYNNVILLE RESIDENT

O.K. Hull, 79, retired Lynnville farmer, died at his home Wednesday of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Hull had been in ill health for some time and his body was found in the closed garage. The engine of a pickup truck was running. Jasper county sheriff Ray Gaylor said the death was a suicide.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Harden funeral home in New Sharon. Officiating will be the Rev. Peter Shuler, pastor of the Lynnville Friends church.

He is survived by his widow, Edith, a daughter, Miss Manella Hull of the family home and two brothers, Homer of Oskaloosa and Frank of New Sharon.

He was a longtime resident of the Lynnville area and had lived in What Cheer and Taintor areas previously.
