Mr. and Mrs. Nolin Lose Second Infant Boy

Little Elmer, the son of Elza and Annie Nolin, was born on June 11th, 1913 and died of pneumonia, January 26, 1914, aged 7 months and 15 days.

Our hearts were enlivened by the sweetness of our baby’s presence, for only a few short months-months in which his baby graces were the light and cheer of our home. Although passing to the great beyond is but another link in the chain, which binds our hearts to a joyous meeting with our loved ones on the other shore.

As the Angel leads little Elmer
Up to the Heavenly door.
They will meet little Carl,
Who has gone on before.

There in the clear light of Heaven,
There, on the evergreen shore
They’ll receive another greeting
Destined to part no more.

There to see the Master’s face
And in His arms to be,
Who said “Suffer little
Children to come unto me.”

Thus death has entered the home the second time, the eldest son, Carl, having died Dec. 8, 1902, at the age of 5 months.

Father and mother know full well what sorrow it is to give up the sweet welcoming smiles of darling babes. Two sons and one daughter are left with them.

The funeral services of baby Elmer were held at Tool’s Chapel and conducted by rev. C. C. Fitzimmons. ~ Newspaper unknown.
