Hunerdosse, Larry Dean – 1955-2009

Larry Dean Hunerdosse, 54, of Central City, Iowa, the son of Jesse W. and Evalee (Greene) Hunerdosse, was born in Des Moines. He died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, (on his father’s birthday) at the Hiawatha Hospice of cancer.
He attended Melcher-Dallas Schools, graduating in 1974, active in sports and band. He attended Citadel Bible College in Ozark, Ark. He dedicated his life to God and was a member of Newbern Community Church in Lacona, Chariton Bible Church and Gospel Light Baptist Church in Marion.
In each church, he was very active in winning souls and leading young people. He was a carpenter. Larry coached junior high baseball, basketball and football and assisted in coaching high school football at Central City. He owned horses that he broke to ride and drive. He often drove a team for parades and hay rides.
He is survived by Ariel (Justin) Bartling of Marion and Rena (Ryan) Cozak of Festus, Mo., Eli (Maggie) Hunerdosse of Marion, Lou Ann Phillips, who, with her two sons, Ryan and Bradley in Central City, loved and cared for him through his illnes; grandchildren Ethan and Kinnick Bartling and Bella Mae Hunerdosse of Marion; mother Evalee Hunerdosse; sister Etha (Ron) Carson and brother Jack Hunerdosse, all of Newton.
After services at Swisher and Dallas, Iowa, the body was cremated with burial later at the Newbern Cemetery in Lacona, Iowa. The funeral was directed by John Pierschbacher Funeral and Cremation Services in Dallas.

Larry was born September 11, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa to Jesse W. and Evalee (Greene) Hunerdosse.
Larry married Tammy Dee Scheib Gress, Swisher in 1981 and was blessed with three children: Ariel, Rena, and Eli. Larry and Tammy were later divorced.
