HARTFORD — Clifford Russell Jackson of Hartford passed away on Dec. 7, 2009, at the age of 81. He was born March 13, 1928, on a farm near Newton.
Clifford worked for the railroad for 37 years, 28 of which were with the Rock Island.
He loved gardening and was a student of nature. He is survived by three children, Cliff, Ruth and Keith, five grandchildren Staci, Leigh, Kelly, Brook, Jackson as well as seven great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be scheduled at a later date.
