Wm. Fred Kinney, 51, died Monday at 10:30 a.m. at his home, 309 West 12th St. South, following an operation for ulcer of the stomach. He was released from the Skiff hospital Saturday morning, where he had been confined for the past two months. Deceased had been a chef at the Hotel Maytag for the past four years. He is survived by the widow, a daughter, Geraldine, of Newton; two step daughters, Mrs. Nelson Stone, Spooner, Wisconsin; Mrs. Opal Stire, Mingo; a step son, Billie Ferguson, Spooner, Wisconsin; his mother, Mrs. Bredfeldt, Davenport; three brothers, Charles, Henry and John Bredfeldt, Davenport; three sisters, Norma Bredfeldt, Mrs. Chas. Schweider and Mrs. Della Smith of Davenport.
Interment was made in Davenport.
