George Whitehead

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 o'clock at the First Christian church in Ira for Geo. Whitehead, 72, who died at his home in Ira Wednesday morning.

The deceased was born in Poweshiek township Nov. 1, 1867, and was united in marriage February 23, 1897. He is survived by his widow and six children, Wilbur of Mingo, Mrs. Ben Bentley (May) of Spooner, Wis., Floyd of Ira, Glen of Collins, Mrs. Lloyd DeReus (Ruth) of Mingo and Virgil of Idaho; 12 grandchildren, a brother, Emory of Alliance, Neb., two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Watt of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Will Stouffer of Colfax.
