Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Monroe for Neal Shaffer, 81, who died at his home in Monroe, Wednesday evening after several months of ill health. Services will be conducted by Rev. E. L. Patterson.

The deceased was born March 18, 1858 at Hollowtown, Highland county, Ohio. He was married on February 11, 1889 at Monroe to Dana Kingery. He is survived by a son, Ray Shaffer of Monroe.
