E. W. Henry, Monroe Dies
Ed. W. Henry, well-known Monroe man, died at his home Tuesday night at 10 o'clock, following a three weeks' illness. He was 87 year old.
Mr. Henry was born in a log cabin in Washington township, Pa., February 28, 1852. In 1877, he decided to go west and located in Monroe, January 29, 1879. He later bought a farm east of Fairmount. Several years ago he retired from the farm and since that time was interested in Monroe banking circles and civic enterprises.
He was married to Athalia A. Andrews, April 28, 1928.
Deceased was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. He is survived by three brothers, Robert J., Joseph N. and Louis A., all of Pennsylvania.
