Kally Inez Bestell, the newborn daughter of Tonia Bruns and J.R. Bestell, died on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m., today, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. Burial was at Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg.
Memorials in Kally’s name or to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation (for kidney research) may be left at the funeral home or given to the family.
Those left to honor Kally’s memory include her parents, Tonia Bruns and J.R. Bestell of Kellogg; her siblings, Brooke, Anthony, and Allysa Bestell and Skyler, Dylan and Addalyn Bruns; her grandparents, John and Peggy Bestell of Kellogg and Robert and Jennifer Bruns of Colfax; her great-grandparents, Lynn and Shirly Partin and Richard Hoover, all of Kellogg, Pat Bestell of Newton, Dale and Marla Stevens of Grinnell, and Becky Shafer of Newton; and her aunts and uncles, Tammy Bestell and Rob Bestell, both of Newton, Shawn and Jenn Stevens of Baxter, Jason and Molly Bruns of Newton, Rick and Lyn Henning of Brewster, Minn., and Brad and Erika Bruns of Pierre, S.D.
