Death Calls Mrs. David A. McKeever
Ida May Gleason was born at Madison, Wis., February 22, 1868, and died March 13th, 1925 at Mingo, Iowa aged 63 years and 19 days.
She came to Iowa with her parents when a child and has been a resident of Jasper county for fifty-six years.
She was united in marriage to David A. McKeever July 3, 1879: to this union were born three sons and one daughter, William Cyrus, and Leander Sherman of Mingo, Wallie Marion of Newton and Mrs. Munson Pond of Mingo; these with her husband are left to mourn her loss. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. D. A. Stock, seven granddaughters and two grandsons besides many other relatives and friends.
She was a member of the Christian church for a numbr of years.
Funeral services were held at the M. E. church at Mingo Sunday march 15th, at 10 a.m., conducted by the pastor, Rev. W. L. Allen, assisted by Rev. Crabtree. Interment was in the McKeever cemetery.
Her three sons and sons-in-law, two nephews, Jesse and Roy Beard acted as pall-bearers. Music was furnished by a quartet, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baker, Mrs. A. W. Frey and Floyd Hulse; two solos by Mr. parisho woth Mrs. Allen pianist.
Out of town relatives present were, W. M. McKeever and daughter Lucile of Newton; Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Beard and daughter Ella; Mr. and Mrs. Milo McKeever, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Dale of Colfax; Mrs. Linnie McKeever; Mrs. Earl Gearhart; Mr. and Mrs. John Stock of Des Moines; Mr. and Mrs. Al Harmon of Adel; Mid Harmon of Manilla, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Milton McKeever of Santiago; Mr. and Mrs. A. Loffgreen of Collins; Andrew Beard of Ira; Mr. and Mrs. Horace Dodd and Leonard Clement of Rhodes.

Mr. McKeever and family wish to extend their thanks and appreciation for the kindness and help of their neighbors and friends during her sickness and death.
