Clarence L. Huber, 67, of Newton died on Monday, June 1, 2009, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
Services are pending at the Wallace Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.

Clarence was born September 28, 1941.
Those left to honor Clarence's memory include his wife, Linda Karrow of Newton; his daughter, Dena (Dan) Huber-Kantola of Grants Pass, Oregon; son, Casey Huber of St. Louis, Missouri; 4 grandchildren; 3 sisters: Loretta Bankson of Davenport, Iowa, Marlene (Bob) Schriefer of Golden Valley, North Dakota, and Frances Huber. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Leo L. and Edna (Renner) Huber. Clarence was a graduate of Beulah High School in Beulah, North Dakota. He worked at the Maytag Company in Newton in maintenance and as a pipefitter, retiring in 2001.
Clarence was a member of the pipefitters union, Moose Lodge 923, Newton Lodge No. 59 A.F. & A.M., and UAW Local 997 Retirees Union. Clarence enjoyed leather crafting, nature and wildlife, being in the outdoors, photography, and tinkering with, fixing, and designing things. Memorial Service: 11 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2009 at English Lutheran Church in Hazen, North Dakota.
