FRISCO, Colo. — Tom Michael DeGrado, 52, of Frisco, Colo., formerly of Newton, died on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Denver, Colo. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, at the Rocky Mountain Bible Church, located at 600 Main Street, Frisco, Colo.
A memorial fund has been established for his sons at the Credit Union of the Rockies, 111 Main, Frisco, Colo., 80443. Memorials may also be sent to the Rocky Mountain Bible Church, 600 Main Street, P.O. Box 148, Frisco, Colo., 80443.
The son of John DeGrado Sr. and Elena (Lucia) DeGrado, Tom was born on Feb. 15, 1957, in Newton.
Tom attended Newton schools and was a press operator for the News Printing Company in Newton, and a pressman for Anthony’s Printing in Frisco, Colo., for 20 years and most recently he was employed by NAPA Auto, also in Frisco. Tom enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing and drag races.
Tom and his wife, Crystal, had two sons, Michael DeGrado and Daniel LaFraniere, both of Frisco.
Besides his sons, Tom is survived by two brothers, Jerome DeGrado of Grand Junction, Colo., and John DeGrado of Newton and four nieces.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew.
