PELLA — Marvin D. Blom, 71, of Pella passed away Sunday afternoon, May 24, 2009, at the Pella Regional Health Center.
Marv, husband of Joann (Memmelaar) Blom, is survived by five children, Vincent Blom of Pella, Rickie Blom of Reasnor, Randi Blom of Milwaukee, Wis., Barbara Hobson of Des Moines and Julie Woodner of Burnsville, Minn.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 27, at 10:30 a.m. at the Calvary Christian Reformed Church in Pella with interment following at the Oakwood Cemetery in Pella. Visitation will begin today, Tuesday, in the afternoon at the Calvary Christian Reformed Church where the family will be present from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The family has designated the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee, Hospice of Pella or Community Connections serving Marion County for memorial contributions.
