Monday, July 30, 1979Ralph Faircloth Services Today; Dies on Friday
KELLOGG — Funeral services for Ralph E. Faircloth, 79, of 614 N. 4th Ave., Marshalltown, a former Kellogg area farmer, were held today at the Purcel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Marshalltown.
He died Friday at his home.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Jean) Anderson of Kellogg and Mrs. Verlyn (Maxine) Twedt of New Port Richey, Fla.; four grandchildren; a brother, Arthur S. of State Center; and a sister, Mrs. Adolph (Byrdie) Ebert of Kellogg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and three brothers.
The son of Jacob T. and Cora Irish Faircloth, he was born Oct. 16, 1899 in Jasper County and attended Jasper County schools.
He was married to Myrtle E. Hutchinson Feb. 11, 1925 in Laurel.
