Lenocker, Dick – 1928-2009

Dick Lenocker, former Newton resident, passed away in Mesa, Ariz., on March 7, 2009.
He was born in Dexter, Iowa, Nov 21, 1928, and attended Dexter School and graduated in 1946. After he finished school he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Japan. After his tour of duty he went on to graduate from the American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa.
He moved to Newton in 1955, working for Stockton Super Value, Parti Time Pizza and Brooker Plumbing & Heating.
He will be remembered as an avid sports fan. Enjoying the Chicago Cubs & playing golf in younger years. He also was involved in the Newton Little League, Cardinal Booster Club and Newton Nite Hawks football.
He was an officer in the Amercian Legion for several years.
He is survived by his wife Delores; his sons, Dave Lenocker, Don (Kandi) Lenocker, Dana Lenocker and his only grandson, Paul Lenocker.
The Arizona address is 2345 E. Main St., Lot 119, Mesa, AZ 85213.
