Anna M. Bullers Mulbrook, 78, of Newton passed away Friday, March 6, 2009, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Rockford, Ill. Honquest Family Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Her parents were Sam and Gladys Bullers and she had five brothers. She was a Newton resident and graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1947. She married her husband, Doyle, in 1952 and graduated from Drake University while also working at Maytag for years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
She is survived by two brothers, Sam and John Bullers of Iowa City; a sister -in-law, Ramona Renmark of Ottumwa; and a brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Ruby Mulbrook and Floyd and Donna Mulbrook of Newton.

Anna Marie Mulbrook, of Rockford passed away March 6, 2009 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born in Newton, Iowa; she was the oldest of six children born to Samuel and Gladys (Lauritson) Bullers. Anna graduated from Newton High School and attended the University of Iowa for two years. Anna met and fell in love with I. Doyle Mulbrook, who she would be married to for many years. After not being blessed with any children, she attended to Drake University in Iowa, where she received a B.A. degree. Doyle accepted a job in Rockford where she joined him, although not thrilled at first, Anna learned to call Rockford home. She and Doyle enjoyed traveling the world together.
