BAXTER — Eva Luing, 72, of Baxter died on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, at her home in Baxter. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Bethany United Church of Christ in Baxter. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton.

Visitation: The family will greet friends from 6-8 P.M., Friday, February 20, 2009 at the funeral home. Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M., Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the Bethany United Church of Christ in Baxter. Interment: Immediately following the service on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Restland Cemetery in Baxter.
Those left to honor Eva's memory are her husband, Danny of Baxter; 2 daughters, Roseanne (Rick) Storm of Carlisle, Iowa and Jennifer (Kevin) Schafer of Baxter; her 3 grandchildren, Justin Storm of Carlisle and Marissa and Zachary Schafer of Baxter; 1 great-grandchild, Hunter and 1 great-grandchild on the way, MaCayla; her brother, Raymond Williamson of Runnells, Iowa; 2 sisters, Martha Martin of Indiana and Theresa Hamilton of Des Moines; and her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Anna (Budrivich) Williamson; a son, Howard; and 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Eva was a graduate of East High School in 1955. She had worked at Highland Potato Chips and at Prairie Meadows, retiring in 1999.
Memorials in Eva's name may be left at the funeral home or the church the day of the service.
