Gary LeRoy Harker, 25, died of multiple organ failure Thursday February 10th 2000 at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Services will be at 2 P.M. Monday February 14th, 2000 at the Rising Sun Church of Christ, of which he was a member. Gary was born in Des Moines, Iowa and had lived there most of his life. He was a printer with Edwards Graphic Art. He enjoyed biking, working on cars, flying airplanes, and played softball on his company's
softball team. Surviving is his mother, Linda Lamb of Des Moines, Iowa; his father, Harold Harker Jr. of Des Moines; a sister, Julie Pettigrew of Emporia, Kansas; his grandparents, Harold Harker, Sr. and Beverly Harker of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Garrison Lamb of Des Moines. Friends may call from 3 to 7 P.M. Sunday at Hamilton's Funeral Home on Lyon Street in Des Moines.
