Wright, Louise

Louise Wright died at the home of John Crawford, four miles south of Newton, Thursday, October 3, 1895, aged 85 years. The deceased was born in Kentucky and came to Jasper County, Iowa, in 1865, where she has since resided. She had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church since girlhood. The funeral was held in the Palo Alto U. P. Church, at one o’clock on Saturday. Rev. A. J. Patterson, of Des Moines, officiating. The remains were interred in the United Presbyterian Cemetery. ~ The Newton Record, Friday, October11, 1895, Page 7, Column 2
