Ivy E. Jones, Excelsior Springs

Ivy E. Jones, 76, Excelsior Springs, died August 18, 1997, at North Kansas City Hospital. She was born November 29, 1920, in London, England, the daughter of Issaac Collett and Mary (Stentiford) Collett. She married Clifford Jones. He died in July, 1995.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Excelsior Springs, and a member of the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Monday Study Club, the Susanna's, and she sang in the church choir for many years.

Survivors include a son, Robert Jones, Vibbard; a daughter, Mary Pierson, Lawson; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and three nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the First United Methodist Church, Excelsior Springs; burial in Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m., today at the church.
