AUBURN — Randy Gerrard Burgart, 51, of Auburn passed away on Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.
Born on Dec. 21, 1956, in Carroll, he was the son of Joseph and Agnes (Vanderloo) Burgart. He grew up in Carroll and Lake City and graduated from Lake City High School. He was employed by PDI Food Distributors of Ankeny. In his spare time, Randy enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading and spending time with his girls. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Carroll.
Surviving are two daughters, Brandy and Amber Burgart both of Newton; a brother, Bill Burgart of Cushing; three sisters, Jayne (Daryl) Boes of Mesa, Ariz., Sharon (Marty) Gilbin of San Antonio, Texas, and Debbie (Mittelstadt) (Ron) Keat of Auburn; an aunt, Evelyn Snyder of Carroll; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
