BATY FUNERAL SET FOR THURSDAY

Funeral services for Henry Milton Baty, 87, Newton resident who died at his home at 733 S. 5th Ave. East of a heart attack Tuesday morning, will be held at Morgan-Loehr Funeral home at 3 p.m. Thursday.

Officiating will be the Rev. Frederick Shmidt of Full Gospel church. Mr. Baty spent most of his life in Newton, He was born to Samuel and Margaret Cooley Baty at Knoxville May 24, 1871.

Survivors include one daughter, Miss Mozelle Baty of Newton, and one brother, Jeptha Baty of Newton. Burial will be at Palo Alto cemetery. The deceased was a member of The Daily News Three Quarter Century club.
