Pella — C. Rex Steddom, 80, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Rex, a lifetime educator and former Registrar and music education instructor at William Penn College in Oskaloosa, is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Hollingsworth) Steddom of Pella, and three sons, Charles W. Steddom of Minneapolis, Minn., John P. Steddom of West Des Moines and Stephen W. Steddom of Overland Park, Kan.
Funeral services were held today, Monday, at Liberty Evangelical Free Church in Pella. Burial was in Forest Cemetery at Oskaloosa.
Memorials may be given for the Liberty Evangelical Free Church Building Fund.
