Fred Mc Keever

ANTIOCH, Calif. - Fred Mc Keever, 67, of Antioch, Calif., a former resident of Jasper County, died Saturday, Jan. 20, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Cambridge.

Burial will be At Mc Keever Cemetery, north of Colfax.

Memorials in his name may be left at the church.

Survivors are his wife, Lola; a son, Jerry of Antioch; a daughter Shirley Dubois of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Lady Kahler of Cambridge and Carrie Hughes of Newton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

A retired carpet and tile installer, he served in the armed services during World War II. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, January 1990
