Park L. Sullivan

Park L. Sullivan, 69, of Ottumwa died at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines Saturday, Jan. 7, of complications from a stroke.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on Church Street in Ottumwa. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Sullivan is survived by his wife, Ethel Sullivan of Ottumwa; five children; his mother, Metta Sullivan of Bloomfield; and 11 brothers and sister, including Kay Johnson and Mary Fulkerson of Newton and Alberta Collister of Colfax. He was preceded in death by his father and one son.

Born in Bloomfield, Mr. Sullivan spent one year in Newton before moving to Ottumwa. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, January 1995
