George Kruse

BOONE - George Kruse, 83, of Mesa, Ariz., and Boone and former longtime resident of Newton, died of a massive heart attack Saturday, March 16, while attending a pre-Easter pageant at the Crystal Cathedral in Anaheim, Calif.

Mr. Kruse was a longtime employee of the Jasper County Savings Bank, retiring in 1972.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Boone Presbyterian Church.

Burial will be in Ogden. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, March 1991
