Leota M. Kempton

STANTON - Leota M. Kempton, 84, of Stanton, a former longtime resident of Corning and mother of Lola (Mrs. Eldon) Pals of Newton, died Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Stanton Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Grace Baptist Church in Corning. Burial will be Prairie Rose Cemetery near Corning.

Memorials to the church or the Faith Baptist College and Seminary may be sent to the Roland-Lindsay Golden Rule Funeral Home in Corning.

Also surviving are a son, two other daughters, 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, February 1990
