SPRINGFIELD, Mo., - Funeral services for Michael Thomas Rinard, 41, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Newton, were held Friday, Feb. 1, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith in Abilene, Texas.

Dr. Robert Sledge conducted services. Burial was in Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene.

Memorials to the West Texas Rehabilitation Center, 4601 Hartford, Abilene, Texas 79605 will be accepted.

He died recently in Springfield, Mo.

Survivors are his parents, Leon and Dee Rinard of Abilene; a sister, Janet Mc Cowen of Abilene; his grandmother, Vallie Rinard; and two aunts, Fonda Tribby of Colfax and Leona Bickle of Newton.

Mr. Rinard, a Navy veteran, was employed by National Cash Register and was a rancher in Missouri. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, February 1990
