COLFAX - Betty L. (Allfree) Swihart, 75, of Colfax died Monday, June 18, 2007, at Hospice of Jasper County’s Monarch Wing in Newton.
No services are scheduled. Cremation is being handled by the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton.
In celebration of her life, family will welcome friends starting at 7 p.m. Friday, June 22 at the Patrick and Terrie Tomlonovic farm, 4866 W. 84th St. S. in rural Colfax.
The Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton, IowaMemorials to Hospice of Jasper County or to the Colfax Ambulance Service may be left at the funeral home.
She was the daughter of James K. and Myra J. (Baker) Allfree. She was born June 24, 1931, in Colfax and was a lifelong resident of Colfax.
Survivors include, two daughters, Terrie Swihart Tomlonovic of Colfax and Tam Swihart Gulling of Des Moines; and their families; Patrick, Brent, Molly, Nicholas and Michael Tomlonovic; Trav and Jacob Gulling; and many close friends and caregivers.
