Saturday Funeral for Ivan Atwood

Funeral services for Ivan Atwood, 64, former Jasper County Sheriff, who died Monday at Chicago, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home.

The Rev. Floyd Newbrough of the Kellogg Methodist Church will officiate. The body will arrive at Newton tonight and friends may call at the Johnson Funeral Home anytime after 10 a.m. Friday.

Burial will be in Slagle Cemetery, Southeast of Newton. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly Newton (IA) Daily News or Des Moines (IA) Register, March 1958
