Caroline Jennie Mc Cuen

COLFAX - Caroline Jennie Ramage Mc Cuen, 89, a longtime resident of Colfax, died Thursday, Jan. 6, at Altoona Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.

Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery.

Visitation with the family wil be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors are two daughters, Erna De Bruyn of West Des Moines and Rosemary Olson of Grinnell; three step-sons, Kenneth Mc Cuen of Prairie City, Larry Mc Cuen of Branson, mo., and Keith Mc Cuen of Colfax; a step-daughter, Betty Kartchner of Security, Colo.; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Etta Danley of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and four sisters and a grandchild.

Mrs. Mc Cuen was a self employed domestic.

The daughter of George and Jennie Sharp Ramage, she was born March 30, 1904 in Otley and attended Monroe Community High School.

She was married to Merle Mc Cuen in 1933 and later to Carm Mc Cuen in 1955.
