Frances G. Urias, 72, of Kellogg died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Merle Hay Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Urias, a homemaker, was born in Santa Fe, N.M., and moved to Kellogg in 1989 from the Newton area.

She is survived by her husband, Soilo; five daughters, Mary Osborn of Lawton, Okla., Meicaela Jones of Kellogg, Alicia Schwerdtfeger of Newton, and Patricia Urias and Diana Urias, both of Des Moines; three sons, Soilo Jr. of Lawton, Harry of Des Moines and Edward of Denver, Colo.; 29 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, December 21, 1994.

KELLOGG - Frances G. Urias, 72, of 118 Bolton, Kellogg, a longtime former resident of the Newton area, died of heart failure Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the Des Moines General Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Merle Hay Funeral Home in Des Moines.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial garden Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday and visitation with the family will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials to the Frances G. Urias Memorial Fund will be accepted.

Survivors are her husband, Soilo; five daughters, Mary Osborn of Lawton, Okla., Meicaela Jones of Kellogg, Alicia Schwerdtfeger of Newton, and Patricia Urias and Diana Urias, both of Des Moines; three sons, Soilo S. Jr. of Lawton, Okla., Harry of Des Moines and Edward of Denver, Colo.; 29 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Urias, a homemaker, had resided in Kellogg since 1989.
