COLFAX - Lela Mae Schumann Perry, 61, of Colfax, a former longtime resident of Baxter, died Wednesday, January 17 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Baxter.

Visitation with the family will be held from seven to 9 p.m. today at Boyd Davis Funeral Home in Baxter.

Memorials in her name may be left at the funeral home.

Survivors are her husband, Orven; and a son, Robert, of Colfax.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a daughter.

The Daughter of Emil and Goldie Thurston Schumann, she was born June 16, 1928 in Grand Rapids, Minn. and was raised and educated in Grand Rapids.

She was Married to Orvon Perry November 30, 1956 in Grand Rapids, Minn.

The couple also had resided in Arizona and State Center.
