Selma Gertrude pratt

COLFAX - Selma Gertrude Pratt, 91, a lifelong resident of Colfax, died Wednesday, October 2 at Clearview Manor in Prairie City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Colfax United Methodist Church.

The Reverend Michael Orthel, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax after noon Friday.

Family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors are a son, William of Colfax; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James, a brother, a sister, a son, Robert, and a great-grandson.

Mrs. Pratt was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and a life member of the American Legion auxiliary.

The daughter of Oscar and Mary Jane Chivers Soderholm, she was born June 5, 1900 in Colfax.

She was married to James Pratt April 3, 1926 in Adel.
