Joel Elliott, son of Clarilla and Elijah Elliott, was born July 20, 1862, at Bowling Green, Ohio, and died March 24, 1937 at Des Moines.

Married Mary Elizabeth Freeman. She died in 1889.
He married Eleanor Mabel Hunter in Aug. 1891.

Burial at Waveland.
